How to update the Customers to the Latest version of the Fundamentals?

To update the customers to the latest version of the Fundamentals, you can follow these steps:


1. Start by opening the Business Central Role Centre page. Click on the Admin Center and then on the Gear icon to open the Settings. From there, click on the Admin Center.



2. Once in the Admin Center, you will see a list of the available environments. Select the environment that you want to update to the latest version.


3. For example, click on the Production environment, you can then click on Apps to open a list of all the installed apps. Sort the list by Publisher in Descending order.



4. Users will see the list of apps from Tangicloud Technologies, notice the columns for Installed Versions and Latest Versions available. 



5. To install the updates, you will need to update the dependencies first. Tangicloud Licensing and Excel Import are both dependencies for Tangicloud Fundamentals and must be updated before updating Fundamentals. If the Tangicloud Fundamentals Action reads “Action required”, clicking it will give you the option to update the dependencies and the selected app within one dialogue box. 


If the Tangicloud Fundamentals Action reads “Install update”, please install the updates in the following order: 


  1. Tangicloud Licensing
  2. Excel Import 
  3. Tangicloud Fundamentals.


By following these steps, you can ensure that your customers are updated to the latest version of the Fundamentals and are able to take advantage of all the latest features and improvements.
