Resolved issues with Trial Balance Grouped by Dimension

Fundamentals offers users the ability to run a trial balance report and group by user selected dimensions. To run the report, go to the Chart of Accounts page and from Actions select Report >> Trial Balance Grouped by Dimensions.

Users can then select which dimension codes they would like to group the report by.

Fundamentals has resolved two issues with the Trial Balance Grouped by Dimension.

1. When printing the report in detail, transactions equal to the Start Date parameter, where not printing on the report. For example, the report with a Start Date of 1/1/2025, was not printing any transactions with a posting date of 1/1/2025. This issue has been resolved.
2. Transaction that were not assigned to a dimension included on the Group By filter, were not being included on the report. For example, a user chooses to group by the dimension Department. There were transactions posted to the G/L account that were not assigned to a Department. These transactions were not printing on the report. This issue has been resolved. Users will now see these transactions print under the heading [NO VALUE SPECIFIED].
