Resolved error with Approval Viewers opening records

Users who were setup as Approval Viewers were getting errors when trying to view the source record. This error message "You must cancel the approval requests for xxxxx before you can the No. field" has now been resolved. Approval Viewers can now see the details of documents and journal entries that are pending approval.

Feature Details

Approval Viewers cannot approve or reject an approval entry. They can only view existing approval entries. This fix will also allow an Approval Viewer to click on Open Record from the Approval List page to see the original document or journal entry.


To setup a user as an Approval Viewer go to Administration >> Users. Highlight the user name and from actions select Navigate >> User Setup Card.
