Default ACH Export Method to Fundamentals (Data Exchange) when creating a new company

Business Value

Organizations who create new companies in Business Central will now default to using the Fundamentals Data Exchange ACH Export method, giving users greater flexibility to the ACH file format.

Feature Details

Previously, the Purchases & Payables Setup would default to the ACH Export Method of Fundamentals (Legacy). This was the original legacy method to creating an ACH file in Business Central.

Now, new organizations or new companies will default to Fundamentals (Data Exchange). This method leverages Business Central data exchange definitions, giving users greater control over the file layout, based on their bank's specific requirements.

Additional information on Data Exchange Definitions can be found at Microsoft Learn -Set up data exchange definitions.
